a short project summary: in 2024 I’m creating one tee design a month, a single print run, giving me chance to experiment with lettering and illustration for clothing. 5% of profits will go to 12 different charities over the year. Each month, I’ll be celebrating a (visually) creative artist from the UK alongside the launch. 

This month’s artist is Rose Dufton.

Rose is a painter working in Leeds, creating gorgeous landscapes using a staple colour palate that’s evolved over the past few years. She loves to work en plein air, creating small paintings while looking at and being surrounded by the nature that inspires her. 

Rose trained in print design at Leeds College of Art, and this love for pattern design led her to become passionate about colour, texture and shape. Her work sits somewhere between abstraction and representation, creating pieces that feel familiar and nostalgic; notions of hazy memories or poetic dreams. 

5% of profits from sales of this T-shirt go to Young Women’s Trust.
